To Sum It Up

Bee Friendly Farming is more than a badge—it’s a movement. So, we helped Silk put it on the map. Literally. The Silk Bee Line transformed a city path into a buzzing hub for bees, flowers, art and awareness.

The Main Takeaways

Every Step Counts
The Silk Bee Line was a literal and symbolic path to change, using each step to educate visitors about the crucial importance of pollinators.

A Coffee Buzz
Commuters reach for coffee without a second thought. In partnership with Café Larue & Fils, we turned their routine pick-me-up into a wake-up call—serving up a one-of-a-kind Silk coffee crafted for World Bee Day.

A Seed for Sustainable Change
With wildflower seeds handouts, limited-edition merch, and influencer-led education, we ensured the Bee Line’s impact echoed long after the campaign wrapped and that bypassers had everything they needed to grow their little pollinator haven.

Bringing Colour to Concrete

City paths can be pretty unremarkable. By introducing vibrant flowers and art, we created a stark contrast, making a powerful visual statement about the vital role of bees in our ecosystem. Canadian artists Marc-Olivier Lamothe and Cath Laporte brought this colourful vision to life, designing a three-block walkable mural and gathering spot for visitors and pollinators alike.

Learning Step by Step

Silk and Pollinator Partnership Canada collaborated to bring impactful bee education to the forefront, sparking engagement across digital and on-site platforms. With planters adorned with fun facts, the footpath was built to make learning as easy as possible.

Our Buzz Brigade

A campaign is only as strong as the people who spread it. With the help of local influencers, we created a digital buzz that swarmed the streets, drawing in curious passersby and turning the Bee Line into an unmissable event.
